First of all, no matter whether the hardness of the selected cutting part is too high or too low, if it is too high, a burned metallographic structure will occur, and the microstructure of the material cannot be accurately tested, resulting in errors. If the hardness is too low, the cutting efficiency will be too low, and the cut pieces will be wasted. To make the cutting process non-burning and sharp, only need to test the hardness of the material and use the coolant correctly.
2. The second is to choose raw materials for cutting plates. Alumina is the first choice for cutting metal materials, and silicon carbide is the first choice for cutting non-ferrous and non-metallic materials. Because the aluminum oxide material used for cutting metal materials will not chemically react with the chemical components in the metal, it is helpful to cut non-metal and non-metal chemical activity is small, the chemical activity of silicon carbide material is lower than that of aluminum oxide, and the cutting performance Good, low burn and wear.
3. Similarly, choosing a suitable particle size is beneficial to cutting. If sharpness is required, a coarser particle size can be selected. If cutting requires high precision, an abrasive with a relatively fine particle size should be selected.
