During surface grinding, straight corrugations appear equidistantly distributed on the surface of the workpiece, which indicates that the rigidity of the grinding head system is poor and there is forced vibration. The vibration source mainly comes from the imbalance of the grinding wheel or the motor. Therefore, it is necessary to check whether the grinding head spindle bearing clearance is too large; whether the grinding head motor rotor is unbalanced and the uniformity of the gap between the rotor and the stator; whether the grinding head holder plug iron gap is too large or the contact is poor; whether the grinding wheel is abundant The problem of imbalance and whether there is external vibration source that causes the grinding machine to vibrate, etc. Therefore, corresponding technical measures should be taken based on the results of the inspection. For example, adjust the spindle bearing gap, the gap between the motor stator and the rotor; scrape the mating sliding surface, adjust the plug iron gap, maintain its working accuracy and increase the rigidity; balance the motor rotor and grinding wheel; select softer and uniform hardness The grinding wheel should be finely trimmed, and the diamond should be installed on the work table during the dressing to reduce the adverse effects of the unbalanced amount of the grinding wheel; in addition, the poor contact between the cone hole of the grinding wheel flange and the spindle and the possible external vibration should be checked and resolved. Source problem.
If the surface of the workpiece appears with a single wave on both sides or a single wave on one side, it indicates that the impact of the worktable changes direction, which makes the column of the grinder shake. When the worktable is reversed, the workpiece enters the grinding again, and the column is shaking at this time, so a single wave defect appears on both sides or one side of the workpiece. Therefore, the position of the reversing striker of the worktable should be adjusted to make it appropriate; the screw of the reversing throttle valve of the worktable should be adjusted to reduce the impact of the reversing of the worktable. In addition, attention should be paid to eliminate the vibration and crawling of the hydraulic system.
If diamond-shaped ripples appear when grinding a plane, the cause is also vibration. Since the ratio of the number of revolutions per minute of the grinding wheel to the number of strokes per minute of the worktable is not an integer in most cases, there are more chances of rhombic waves than straight waves that are equally spaced. Therefore, the rigidity of the grinding head system should be improved, the vertical feed amount should be reduced appropriately, and the worktable reversing time should be adjusted to meet: worktable reversing time/grinding wheel rotation time = integer to eliminate diamond ripples.
