Why does the cutting disc break during cutting?
In the process of using cutting disc in production and processing, we often find the phenomenon of cutting blades cracking. I would like to put forward my own views on the cracking problem.
First, the machine breaks when the machine is idling: when the cutting piece is loaded into the cutting table, it needs to be idling for one minute. There are two main factors for the rupture in this process. One is that the cutting piece is an inferior product and does not reach the line speed of the cutting table. In addition, the hole diameter of the cutting disc and the shaft of the cutting table is not equipped, so there is large stress during assembly.
Second, the cutting disc is broken during use: we often see that the cutting disc is normal at the beginning of use, and the grinding wheel is broken when the cutting is usually 1/3 of the state. Through the analysis, there may be the following reasons:
The flatness of the cutting piece is poor, the structure of the cutting piece is uneven, the hardness of the cutting piece is high, and the cutting piece resin lacks toughness. When the flatness of the cutting disc is poor, the cutting surface is curved. As the cutting depth increases, the lateral stress of the cutting disc increases, and the grinding wheel will crack during repeated round trips, resulting in a "soft sheet", which will break when continued use. When the tissue of the cutting disc is uneven, with the torque force, thermal stress, tremor, and other factors of the cutting process, the stress will accumulate in the weak part of the tissue, resulting in rupture.
When the hardness of the cutting disc is high, the radial torque force on the cutting disc will increase. Since the thickness of the cutting disc is usually less than 4mm, it will cause the cutting disc to break.
When the cutting disc resin lacks toughness, since the grinding wheel is always in a negative pressure state during the cutting process, lateral stress is inevitably generated. When the cutting disc cannot resist the lateral force, the grinding wheel will break. In summary, in order to avoid the rupture of the cutting blade, the following points are required for the quality of the cutting blade:
1. To have sufficient strength, the normal cutting disc rotation strength must reach 1.5 times the speed of use.
2. To have a good flatness, the flatness of the cutting sheet should be controlled within 0.3mm.
3. Choose a suitable cutting blade. Due to the complicated use of the cutting blade, you must choose the hardness of the cutting disc according to your own needs. If it is too hard, it will break, and if it is too soft, it will increase the cost.
